The PD secretary wants the windfall tax introduced immediately and on its own, whilst the wealth tax should only be implemented ‘at European level’. The Minister for the Economy takes the opposite view. However, this is not driven by any EU policy, but by what is politically most advantageous based on the latest opinion polls
