Ukraine is forging a partnership with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), bringing its defence industry closer to its allies and thereby gaining access to a channel in addition to bilateral agreements with individual countries

“The true aim of Trump and Putin, in their nefarious pact, is the destruction of the European Union and the historical-political concept of Europe,” reads the editorial in the latest issue of Il Regno, the long-established Catholic magazine of the democratic tradition.

“From now until midnight, I am joining the hunger strike organised by Pina Picierno to draw international attention to Oleshky, a Ukrainian town where thousands of people are trapped in territory occupied by the Russian army,” writes the leader of Azione. Over 400 people have signed up to the campaign launched by the Vice-President of the European Parliament.

It is alleged that the founder of SpaceX imposed a speed limit on the Starlink terminals used by Kyiv, thereby compromising defences against Russian drones. Meanwhile, Washington has reinstated ballistic missile alerts. And Witkoff is meeting with Putin to discuss the peace plan (and an agreement to secure the release of some Americans).

For the first time, a rescue operation using a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) has been documented: “Our military personnel and engineers are developing new ways to bring wounded soldiers home”

Speaking to Corriere della Sera, the Ukrainian president says that “the US restrictions on intelligence and the reduction in Starlink’s speed are an injustice”. He adds: “Russia has long been waging a hybrid war against Europe, including against Italy, France, the UK and Germany”
