Marianna Rizzini è nata e cresciuta a Roma, tra il liceo Visconti e l'Università La Sapienza, assorbendo forse i tic di entrambi gli ambienti, ma più del Visconti che della Sapienza. Per fortuna l'hanno spedita per tempo a Milano, anche se poi è tornata indietro. Lavora al Foglio dai primi anni del Millennio e scrive per lo più ritratti di personaggi politici o articoli su sinistre sinistrate, Cinque Stelle e populisti del web, ma può capitare la paginata che non ti aspetti (strani individui, perfetti sconosciuti, storie improbabili, robot, film, cartoni animati). E' nata in una famiglia pazza, ma con il senno di poi neanche tanto. Vive a Trastevere, è mamma di Tea, esce volentieri, non è un asso dei fornelli.
