From their early days in Serie A2 and international tournaments, through to promotion to Serie A1 and winning the league title in 2023, the team founded by Fabio Merlino has become a mainstay of the sport: "It was set up in memory of my dad. Before he left for Iraq, he promised me he’d take me to have a go at hockey."
