Damiano knocked out with a single blow: Grillo has snatched him too!
Damiano suspects that Grillo might be behind Edoardo’s disappearance, but falls into the inspector’s trap. An implausible scene that leaves Rosa and Clara in a state of panic
After making it clear to Grillo that he is on Edoardo’s trail, Damiano finally has a brainwave: could it be that the inspector himself was the one who kidnapped him? He hints that he has found a letter addressed to his colleague and to Rosa, without giving any details. And he starts following Grillo. Who, after barely five minutes, catches him and knocks him out with a single blow. This scene is surreal. The writers expect viewers to accept that a large, burly policeman who has taken down Camorra members and murderers now falls to the ground, knocked out by a single blow from an elderly man, who then manages to drag him down to the cellar while Damiano remains unconscious for hours. Upon regaining consciousness, he realises he has been kidnapped along with his brother-in-law. Meanwhile, Rosa and Clara are in a state of utter panic over his disappearance.
