A Place in the Sun: Rosa and Damiano’s final peaceful moments

Guido, after being reprimanded by Sasà, grants his subordinate a Sunday off and schedules Mariella to work instead. However, she has a local festival that day that she does not wish to miss. She therefore returns to her friend to offer him a break, but he realises she is playing a joke on him and tells her to get lost. Meanwhile, doctors attempt to wake Gianluca from his coma, but the procedure fails. Alberto subsequently leaves, despondent, until Luca arrives; the two, united in their grief, grow closer once more. Rosa and Damiano also draw closer, though these prove to be their final moments together before Grillo kidnaps him as well. (a.d.)
