A Place in the Sun: Inspector Grillo has kidnapped Sabbiese

Sabbiese was abducted by Inspector Grillo, who chained him up and beat him. Clara, although initially convinced he had run off with Stella, is now beginning to have her doubts. Her sister, however, rules it out entirely. Only Damiano, disappointed by his friend, is certain he ran off, abandoning the children. Micaela, whilst telling Serena the story of the spoiled food, has a brainwave: it was Lorenza who set the trap to curry favour with the Vulcano partners at Samuel’s expense. But, by going to the bar to flush out the waitress, she risks being in the wrong once again. Serena’s holiday home is no longer performing as it did in its early days, and both Filippo and Manuela offer to help her. However, rather than financial support, she would prefer to revive the business. (a.d.)
