A Place in the Sun: Gianluca and Anna’s accident reignites Alberto’s suspicions

Gianluca and Anna are involved in a serious accident, but he is the one who is worst off. Upon arriving at the hospital, his parents find out what has happened. Alberto goes to speak to Anna and, naturally, the first thing she asks him is what he was doing with Gianluca. However, whatever she might tell him now, it is clear that he will remain suspicious that the two have rekindled their romance. Given their respective vulnerabilities, such a possibility cannot be ruled out, and Alberto might even be considered to deserve it. To lighten the drama of the episode, the writers have included a minor subplot involving Bice and Sergio, who appear to have found themselves beneath Mariella and Guido’s duvet. (a.d.)
