A Place in the Sun and the story of Rossella’s master’s degree in Spain

Nunzio stumbles upon the offer that the professor made to Rossella for the master’s degree in Spain. He feels terrible for not having been told about it, and gets angry after discovering that her parents, on the other hand, did know. In fact, Rossella was in the wrong for discussing it with them rather than with her partner. That is why they keep getting in the way. The dispute, however, makes her even more anxious, putting her presentation at the conference at risk. For once, Renato is right to step in and manages to foil Micaela’s attempt to ‘kidnap’ Gimmy.

In the end, the boy, showing great maturity, decides to agree to see the psychologist. At that point, however, his mother also wishes to accompany him. Manuel happens to run into his uncle and insists on meeting him again. Rosa succeeds in persuading Damiano to allow him to return for dinner while she is away, for the child’s sake, as she does not wish to inform him that he is a delinquent.
