A Place in the Sun: Renato’s suspicions and Rosa’s fears

Wednesday is the regular day for Edoardo, Clara and the children to have dinner at Rosa and Damiano’s house. But ever since the policeman told his brother-in-law to stay away from his family, the situation has become difficult to manage. This time, Edoardo makes up an excuse, though not without a barrage of questions and concerns from Clara – but how long can he keep this up? Even Rosa snaps at one point and tells her sister-in-law that she’s tired of helping her brother all her life. Meanwhile, however, Renato has a suspicion and shares it with Raffaele. They manage to uncover the truth: that the theft was carried out by the electrician with Edoardo’s help. Rosa catches wind of the incident and now lives in fear of being found out. Meanwhile, a new row breaks out between Bice and Sergio, backed by Mariella and Guido. (a.d.)
