Trifone Altieri (Lega) appointed to ANAC
The Council of Ministers has appointed another member of the Carroccio to a post: following Centemero’s appointment to Consob, Altieri – known as Nuccio – succeeds Busia as president of the National Anti-Corruption Authority
Trifone Altieri, known as Nuccio, a former Lega MP, has been appointed as the new president of ANAC, the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC). The appointment was made by today’s Council of Ministers, after another Lega MP, Giulio Centemero, was also appointed Commissioner at Consob. It appears to have been a day of appointments for the Lega. Altieri replaces Giuseppe Busia from Sardinia, who has held the post since 2020.
