The gap between Fratelli d’Italia and the Democratic Party is narrowing, as is that between Futuro Nazionale and Forza Italia. These are the main findings of the latest poll carried out by YouTrend for SkyTg24. Compared with the previous poll on 3 July, FdI – which nevertheless remains the country’s leading party – has lost 0.5 per cent and dropped to 26.4 per cent, whilst the PD, despite losing 0.1 per cent, stands at 21.9 per cent. On the other hand, Roberto Vannaci, having overtaken the Lega and the Green-Left Alliance, is now hot on the heels of FI as well: in fact, over the last twenty days, Fn has grown more than any other political force, gaining 1.2 per cent to reach 7.6 per cent, with Forza Italia at 7.9 per cent (+0.3 per cent).
Among the other majority parties, the Lega lost 0.5 per cent, falling to 4.9 per cent, whilst Noi Moderati remained stable at 0.8 per cent. In the opposition, the Five Star Movement fell to 11.5 per cent (-0.5), whilst AVS rose by 0.2 per cent to 6.8 per cent. In the centre, Carlo Calenda’s Azione gained 0.3 per cent to reach 3.7 per cent; Matteo Renzi’s Italia Viva lost 0.4 per cent to fall to 2.1 per cent; and finally, +Europa rose to 1.9 per cent (+0.6 per cent). Michele Boldrin’s Ora!, on the other hand, stood at 0.9 per cent (-0.1 per cent).
