“The work will now get into full swing with the establishment of 10 thematic working groups that will work with representatives of the political parties starting in the coming days,” say the PD, M5S, AVS, IV, Più Europa, Più Uno and Progetto Civico, together with the PSI, in a statement.

Present in the chamber: the PD, the M5S, Ruffini representing Più uno, the Civic Ecologist Left, Renzi supporters and Calenda supporters. The Democratic Party secretary is almost moved to tears; indeed, it almost seems like a different centre-left from the one brawling outside.

"A group of pro-Russian hackers has decided to put a bounty on my head and that of my family," claims the leader of FI. Meloni: "Equally worrying is the circulation of fake images, which are also being shared by members of the opposition."

Let us savour this round of Premier League action, readers (and to Serie A supporters, I apologise), because then the international break will kick off again, and without even a CR7 to analyse. In Manchester they are singing Venditti, while in Italy there is debate over Totti’s prostate.

The Agency for Cinema and Audiovisual Media has been established, having been unanimously approved thanks in part to the efforts of Pupi Avati. Last year, the 88-year-old director, speaking from the stage at the David di Donatello Awards, specifically asked Meloni and Schlein to get in touch, meet up or have a phone call to ‘save Italian cinema’.

The Constitutional Court’s ruling by no means brings the case concerning Nordio’s former chief of staff and the Almasri affair to a close. On the contrary, the case remains very much open, with a not-unlikely possibility that it will return before the Constitutional Court.

The M5S wants to reintroduce the offence that was repealed by the right. There are varying views amongst the Democrats, with many mayors opposed. The MEP said: “If we start drafting the manifesto with the primaries in mind, it becomes complicated. Our opponent is Meloni.” Meanwhile, the former prime minister is set to travel to Rio de Janeiro to discuss AI.

Hostility toward Netanyahu has reached extreme levels. At one of the most difficult moments in its history, Israel needs a national coalition government based on political compromise, capable of establishing the minimum conditions for internal peace.

Whilst Germany has restarted two blast furnaces in recent months, Italy has permanently shut down its last three, which had remained in operation in Taranto. A victory for environmentalists, but far less so for the country’s industry.
