Austerity un tanto al chilo

Premesso che non accadrà mai sui piccoli schermi italiani di vedere un politico che si impappini mentre fa una lista di agenzie e organismi pubblici di cui liberarsi, la scena che ha visto protagonista Rick Perry (uno dei concorrenti Repubblicani per la nomina di candidato presidenziale degli Stati Uniti) è niente male.

Di seguito la trascrizione:

"And I will tell you, it is three agencies of government when I get there that are gone. Commerce, Education, and the ... what's the third one there? Let's see".
Perry fa una pausa e si sente una risata nello studio. Allora Ron Paul (altro concorrente alla guida del Partito Repubblicano) interviene sorridente e incalza: "You need five". Perry prova a rispondere: "Oh, five, ok. So Commerce, Education, and the ... ".
Romney (altro candidato alle primarie repubblicane) allora suggerische: "EPA?". E Perry: "EPA, there you go, no ... ".
A questo punto il moderatore della Cnbc, John Harwood, chiede un po' stupito: "Seriously, is the EPA the one you were talking about?". Lo sventurato (Perry) risponde: "No, sir, no, sir. We were talking about the agencies of government -- the EPA needs to be rebuilt. There's no doubt about that". Insiste il giornalista: "But you can't name the third one?". Perry: "The third agency of government I would, I would do away with, the Education, the ... Commerce and, let's see…".
