Dear Jeff, obviously "the immediate fact that this winter has been exceptionally wet and cold is NOT a good argument against Global Warming". But, at the same time some hot summers are not enough to uncritically accept the theory of anthropically caused global warming. My ironic post was against supeficial way to approach the issue from the mass media.I'm a geologist and I don't believe to the anthropically caused global warming theory because of several, very serious and scientific, reasons.
